Frolix at Hampton Court

Have been to HC twice in one week! Ali and I went to the Palace on Tuesday. I hadn't been there for years. We did a whistle stop tour of the Palace and the Maze. Weather wasn't brilliant but as we were indoors a lot of the time we coped OK. I had my Mickey Mouse caggy on so Ali could find me easily. Here I am dressed as one of Henry's courtiers-needless to say Ali was at least ten feet away at this point.

Yesterday, Susan and I went to HC for the Flower Show. The weather this time although iffy was better than Tuesday. I think I could have sold my earrings for a lot of money as they caused quite a bit of interest. here I am with Bill and Ben. No prizes for who you think I am!

Fun 'n' frolix

Have had a few days on the town recently. Bob took me to Wimbledon on the second Monday of the tournament. Very hot but what a good day. We had centre court tickets and were there for the only use of the new roof during the tournament. Also we didn't leave until 10.45 pm due to the fact that the roof meant play could continue. Here is a picture from the day showing the roof.

We have been back almost 2 weeks now. Had a great time in Disney and apart from the sad news in the middle of the holiday the second week went well although we missed Tim and Ali. Weather was hot but it was a much more relaxed time going in June than in August. I am somewhat disorientated normally I'm thinking of going back to school after the holiday and this time I still have July and August to go. I'm adding a picture-it's the pc I tried to send out but didn't go. Don't look t it on a dark night

HCPWB club

The Harrold Country Park Walk and Breakfast Club continues to meet on Wednesday mornings. Walk first followed by Breakfast although next week being Bob's birthday we are meeting later and going for lunch afterwards. Helen joined us this week and here we are enjoying the weather

Family visit

It was good to see some old friends from Wisbech days on Tuesday. David-now living in New Jersey- and Jenny Bowles -now in Norwich-came to see father at Brook House. Dad enjoyed this although it did tire him. A pleasant afternoon was had by all.

Thought I'd have another go today and see if I have more success. We did go to London last weekend and had a great time. I took loads of photos with the intention of downloading some but seem to have lost them all. 'We will rock you' was a great show to see and singalong with if anyone is thinking of going to see it.
Dad's 90th birthday went well;I DO have photos from that so will try to add one to this blog and see if it works.
